This is another Babe Ruth forgery.

When the ball was originally sent to PSA/DNA, it was noted on the letter that the signature had faded and had been enhanced / traced over with an ink that had a bluish tint.

Between the time the ball was examined by PSA back in 2001, and the current listing on eBay, the signature has been deeply and very poorly traced over again.

I could not copy the photos to show the comparison due to the software being used by the seller, but if you compare the signature on the PSA letter, and the current garbage, you will see a very distinct and obvious difference.

The current signature has been so poorly forged, it has made the ball basically worthless.

In trying to verify the PSA/DNA letter and to get a view of the autograph when originally examined, I entered the cert number in their database.

This is what was returned.

The selected PSA/DNA Certification Number A99481, was not found in the PSA/DNA Certification Database.

Another one has had the light shined on it, and couldn't stand the exposure.

Two Ruth forgeries in a week have been advertised on eBay, exposed, and removed.

I have another Ruth ball with a major COA that may be exposed on here.

Just gets old.
