most already know about www.baseball-almanac.com (http://www.baseball-almanac.com) and www.baseball-reference.com (http://www.baseball-reference.com) . the 2 are invaluable for looking up player data, uniform numbers, transaction and dates, and box scores from almost any mlb game ever played. i've found a few other useful sites. baseballcube.com is especially interesting as it contains minor league and college rosters from almost any year and club.
