At first glance, the Willis and Peppers home look like someone got carried away and the Champ Bailey looks like a steal. The prices sort of seem to be all over the place.

Looking at some of these prices, it is clear that some people are nuts. If they waited until similar jerseys wound up in Hunt's regular auction, they'd go for a fraction of the price.

Yes, the prices are generally more in the Super Bowl Auction. The Willis is on point with what his normally sell for and taking into account it has the 911 Patch, it is really not too bad. 40k for a Brady is one the most ridiculous prices I have ever seen for who and what it is. A Montana 49er gamer with team letter doesn't go for that. I guess a legitimate Montana is worth 60k now? I don't think so. Brady is no comparison to Montana and someone just wasted a lot of money on a jersey that is worth nowhere close to what was paid. I guess if money is no object, then it was worth it.

I picked up the Willis in last years Super Bowl Auction and picked up the Justin Smith in this years.

It's not about the player....it's about the supply. Only @ 3 proven legit Brady's have sold in the last decade. 22K-27K-40K respectively. The Patriots only release their Jerseys under unique circumstances.

Guys with cash have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for this Jersey to become available and it finally did. It's not really that crazy.

Mulligans, have any of the 3 legit Brady's been from Super Bowl winning seasons? If not, that would have at least made the 40K jersey a little more special.

But won't more of his jersey's surface eventually, they can't just disappear for ever. So what do the pats do with the jerseys?

I have never seen or heard of a Brady Jersey available from a SB winning season.

Prior to this year, Brady was wearing his favorite Blue Jersey from 2003 and his favorite white Jersey went to the Patriots Hall of Fame at the start of last season when he set an NFL record for most wins at his age. He had been wearing this Jersey for a few years.

Who knows maybe the Pats will someday change the way they do things?

I thought the Frank Gore was a bargain as his shirts routinely sell for 3K on NFL Auctions. The Justin Smith at $1200 was an absolute steal for a 9-11 gamer of a top tier defensive lineman.

I would have jumped on the Alex Smith but am short for cash presently. If the winner of that shirt ever decides to sell, please look me up!

I thought the other prices were not completely nuts considering many of the shirts were 9-11 gamers. Dont forget that this auction brings in bidders who may not even know that such items are sold. They are exposed to the auction just by being at the SB, thus previously untapped cash enters the bidding arena.

The Willis was the slightest bit high but considering the season the 49ers had, the fact that it was a 9-11 shirt and that he is a pro-bowl player year in and out, the price was probably about right. Even Kapernick sold for 800$ on NFL Auctions last week.

It will be interesting to see what else pops up now that the season is over and that the NFL is switching over to Nike. Teams may sell much more than they usually do!

Always buying 49ers gamers and ALL 1994 49er GU items!

I got the Dunta Robinson Falcons 9/11 jersey for $499 plus premium. Sort of took a gamble on it hoping that he will thrive in new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan's scheme's. Dunta was never really the right fit for our soft defensive schemes last season...let's hope Nolan puts him in more press coverage, man situations in which I'm positive he'll do better.

I picked up the Frank Gore and the Mike Williams. I thought the Williams was a steal at $350 but who knows?

Linebackers go for alot. look at what Lewis and Urlacher go for, plus Willis got a boast because people bid during the 49ers run thinking he was going to Super Bowl. Champ Bailey sells for that all the time. Great player but 1,000 jerseys on the market, look at how many JO has in stock.

You beat me out on the D'Quell jersey...he is a tremendous player! When healthy, he is one of the best LB's in the NFL....nice pickup!!

Missed out on the Kolb jersey. Oh well. Are these all from the NFL or do individuals send them to Hunt to be auctioned off? What kind of Coa do they have?

Both. It's a general auction but the nfl contributes alot of great stuff to hunt for the auction.

Depending on the item depends on the authentication. Check the item description for each item.
