Giants Fan Fest February 4

The Giants Fan Fest is this Saturday, February 4th - anyone going? I have been told that the game used equipment will be from 2009 and before, nothing from 2010 or 2011.

I am planning on going, hopefully there are price mark downs for the jerseys.

I find it odd that there isn't much going on with this thread... Anyway, all jerseys for sale were 2009 and before, plus there were helmets, bats, and St. Patty's day caps from "a couple of years ago" according to the people there. A few good player's jerseys were there, all were $100. I picked up a road Jeremy Affeldt, must be from 2009 as it's a recycled 2007 jersey. Also picked up a game used Emmanuel Burris St. Patty's day cap.

Huge markdowns on jersey prices
$100 for all jerseys from 09. Some
Gigantes and JRD jerseys.

The biggest name players available were
Molina, Aurilia, Ishikawa, Rowand,
Correia.

Someone picked up a team issued Randy Johnson
09 jersey as well.

Yes, I picked up for $100 each:

1) Randy Johnson team issued 2009 home knit - little wear - original price at dugout store $2300;
2) Aaron Rowand team issued 2009 road coolbase, good wear - original price $975, last price from 9/11 mailer was $250;
3) Bengie Molina team issued 2009 road knit, good wear - original price $1475 last price from 9/11 mailer was $500.

Almost all of the players on the rack were no longer on the team, the only exception I saw were coaches and Affeldt.

I also picked up banners ($90 total) that hung around the park for 2010 and 2011, will post pictures later tonight.

Thank you Yamlis - that was a nice blog from Bengie. There was another Molina jersey at the Fest, which showed the outline of the stitching, but the note was gone.

Wow, you guys got some really really nice stuff from the event. Was there a ton of game used stuff there? I couldnt make it this year.

There were two clothes racks with jerseys, a counter/check out stand with helmets on it (behind the counter were St. Patty's Day caps and auto'd balls), and two garbage cans filled with bats. Not the biggest amount of stuff I've seen, but better than nothing.
