Harley Sewell, a guard who was a 4-time Pro Bowler and 2-time NFL champion, died December 17 after a long illness. He was 80.
A first-round pick out of Texas in 1953, Sewell spent 10 seasons with the Lions before a final two games in 1963 with the Rams. He went on to work as a scout with the Rams for 37 years.
