Longoria GU Bat on ebay, authenticity?

I have some issues with this:
1) His rookie year was 2008, not 2007 like the inscription says, so perhaps this could be from his time in the minors in 2007
2) I didn't think he wore #3 in the minors, like the decal on the knob
3) There appears to be writing under the decal, so maybe it was a minor league bat that was also used in the early part of the 2008 season
4) I checked out getty images and there are only pics from the 2007 futures game, and not many (however you can see he is using a marucci bat in the futures game)

It shows a ton of game use so its possible it was held on to for a while but i'm just not too sure. (I'm approx. 65% confident at this point)

I have no issues with the autograph as I have other signed GU Longoria items and also double checked the psa/dna and it's authentic

I'm not concerned with price at this point, just authenticity.

I remember when PCM did this signing with Longoria. It was definitely in the offseason between 07 and 08, so it was not used in a MLB game. I'm not sure what # he wore in 2007 Arizona Fall League, but that could be an option of where it is from. From what I remember PCM had probably 5-6 bats and a fielding glove of his.

The one thing that sticks out to me on this bat is the lack of mota on the handle vs. the large amount of ball marks on the barrel. Longoria definitely likes his mota, and that suggests to me this could be a possible bp bat.

If you are looking for a rookie bat take a look at this one. Player characteristics are in line and it is Longoria's favorite model bat, the natural LVS I13.

I thought it looked a bit suspect for his rookie year. The price was too high anyways. However, if anyone's interested in the bat, I would wait because its the second time it's been listed, $399 first, now $380. It will go lower because I don't see it getting any bids.
