I finally added my own holy grail jersey. I know there are far more expensive jerseys and more rare jerseys....but Nolan has always been my personal favorite. I have two questions for you guys....do any of you know if and when Nolan will do any signings? Second, do any of you have any photos you would share of Nolan pitching in 1993 BEFORE September? Thanks for all your help.........

Thank you Slam. I think I paid a very fair price. I have been waiting years for a Rangers Ryan gamer that I felt was without a doubt legitimate.

I know nothing about pricing of Nolan Ryan jerseys but in my opinion, this shirt looks spectacular. The price seems low considering it seems to have so many good things going for it (at least according to what others have taught me here about his jerseys)

Don't sell your item short Doc. Ryan is a true blue HOF player and anytime a jersey of a player of that caliber can be obtained, it's just awesome, man. I can't think of any baseball fan who isn't envious.

Congrats on the pick up!

I'm not even a baseball fan or have any specific person I rooted for, but I can tell ya that when my Dad gave me a baseball signed by him a few years back, I was elated. I used to pretend I was "Ryan" hurling a 100mph+ fastball down the pipe when I was a kid! My Dad won a Southwest Airlines contest and got to go to the Astrodome and PLAY with Nolan on the diamond! My Dad used to play baseball in college and such, so it was a great time for him......Even though he hit a grounder off Nolan his first AB and proceeded to tear his Hammy running to first. Oh well, at least he got to meet him and get a bunch of stuff signed and hang out. I have a beautiful baseball signed by him now!

dont mail a jersey of this caliber away for an autograph. when you get a valuable item like this signed get it done in person way too much risk otherwise.

Do not get the jersey signed!!!! If it was 1994, I would say get it signed. But were are almost 20 years after the fact.

Agreed, do not get it signed. Photo or style match the jersey and have him sign the photo. Maybe show him your jersey and watch his reaction and listen to what he has to say about it.

If it is for your personal collection and you appreciate the added signature - Get it signed! Some people don't like signatures on their items, and those people shouldn't get their items signed, but many like it and it is yours to look at now so your full choice!
