The winningest coach in NCAA hoop history. A great man and an even better coach.:)

Coach Krzyzewski is a class act with a quality program. I like Knight a lot, but, if anyone was to surpass his record, I'm glad it was Coach K.

Is that the guy who got famous because of a beer commercial?

I think this was the follow-up to the commercial:

I think the original limo driver is on Cougar Town town, by the way.

When will those pants be back in style? I have a pair in my closet somewhere waiting for the day. Is Coach Knight wearing golf shoes with those pants because they go well together?

Sitting on the bench looking like you're ready to fall asleep (Dean Smith)isn't coaching. ;)

What exactly are you trying to say? I hope you have more sense than that.

I have watched the ACC all of my life.
Dean Smith had some of the best talent and best teams in the history of the ACC. It was always said that Smith didn't recruit, he chose who he wanted to play for him. He didn't really do much with them though did he? 2 championships in 36 seasons.
Watch the old games, especially the last 5-6 years of his coaching career, and you will not see much coaching from him. The assistants did most of the coaching.
Do I think he was a good coach? Yes I do and his players loved him. I just think the last 10 years or so of his coaching career he became complacent.

I guess you're right. I have never watched the ACC. I am more of a West Coast guy. I always thought he was good, 'cause that's what they said on ESPN. I can't ever remember watching a game that he coached, just the highlights. He coached Jordan, so he must be good.

The joke used to be:
Q: Who is the only person to hold Jordan to under 20 points a game?

A: Dean Smith.

I never heard that one before. That's pretty funny.
