Found this Aroldis Chapman jersey on MiLB...

First thing that jumped out at me was the starting bid...

Next thing in my head was this thread:

Where we get told that there was only one Chapman Home Bats jersey...

Obviously different styles though, but description may be misleading...

Just saying.

Mark.

He played in Louisville in 2010 and 2011 so that would be at least 2 home jerseys. The jerseys are also different because one has pinstipes and the other doesn't. I don't know anything about Louisville's jerseys, but the different styles could either be home alternates or they changed their jerseys for the 2011 season.

Mark, I know you mean well but your way off on this one. In 2010 that was one of the ONLY Chapman jerseys out there and the only home Louisville one.

In 2011 Louisville changed up their home style ditching the pinstripes. Chapman also spent a few innings in the Ville this year to work on things, hence the second home jersey now.

The only head scratcher to this is how the price is still so high. Chapmania has cooled a bit and here we are still looking at insane prices. Hope he become a great starter next year for the Reds and prices go back up! :D

Yeah sorry, my main point was the price. Why would it be so high? Surely he can't be touted that much? I mean he's no Strasburg...wouldn't there be Reds jersey's of his floating around? Surely they don't go so high?

All I kept reading in the other thread was that he had one home jersey. Didn't occur to me to check baseball reference to see if he had another year at the Bats. My bad.
