I went to the game used jersey listings earlier this evening, and ran across a coincidence I've never seen before. Two game used jerseys, identical in player identity, year, team and style were in consecutive listings on eBay! he items were both 2006 Rangers alternate jerseys of Nelson Cruz. This was from the era where Texas only had the blue alternates for both home and road, unlike now, where the home alternates are red.
The only differences between the 2 Cruz gamers were the material (one standard 0062, the other a cool base 0063) and the team inventory tag numbers inside the tail...which were CONSECTIVE (the 0062 was numbered 06730 and the cool base jersey was tagged 06731).
This obviously isn't an earth-shattering hobby event but the coincidence of two identical jerseys (as far as player, year, team and color go) with consecutive team inventory numbers in consecutive eBay listings has got to be a rare circumstance, one I figured a few GUF members would get a kick out of.:p
