Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball Jersey - team altered or what?

Picked this up recently and know nothing about OSU basketball game jerseys, have never seen a jersey with a screened number altered before.

A new "3" and a new "0" have been placed over a prior and existing smaller "3" and "4". Would this have been done by the team or is it an older replica (DeLONG size L tagging) that has been altered by a fan perhaps?
