This jacket looks to be team issued due to the number being authentic looking...but is is a Bobby Valentine era jacket

Dykstra could never have worn it as a Met player...perhaps it was issued to him at a spring training? The seller claims he has sold other Dykstra items, but I see no evidence of it. Robin Ventura and John Valentin wore #4 in that era of jacket. Also $1000 seems high even if it were photo-matched to Dykstra or Ventura.

I have actually found a photo that places Dykstra in Spring training at the time the jackets were worn...maybe it is his ST jacket.

I was wondering myself...maybe he was some kind of roving instructor that didn't get a number on his jacket.
