just wanted to inform the many cano collectors out there that there is an issued cano bat on ebay with suspected doctoring, three red flags i see.
1. no tape, while cano has used a bat with no tape before 2010-2011 gamers have been exclusively taped.
2. the pine tar application looks off and not like any tar i've seen, cano this year has used a reddish mota patted down with a rosin bag.
3. the "ball marks" arent ball marks at all, perhaps a simple scuff that could have occured anywhere.
the seller maybe a member here so i want to state that this is in fact a game issued bat and thats not what is at question here. the bat is being sold at a premium because it was "used". i can state that in my honest opinon this bat is nothing but a signed issued cano bat.
