Barry Bonds SAM bat Alert

SAM BAT ALERT –

We are not sure if you noticed, but Barry is no longer using Sam bats in games, and is working with Louisville Slugger for his game bats.

That being said, he will no longer sign SAM bats, so the 8 (eight) we have in inventory right now are very likely to be the last ones ever available.

I did look at the site, and 1500.00 for his autograph on a bat is ridiculous.

Wasn't even that valuable back when someone actually liked him.

So is Bonds using Louisville Slugger's now in games again? I know he used them for a brief time earlier this season. There was a thread with photo of him using a LS M9.

Interesting, because he used a Sam bat here in St. Louis Friday night. He didn't play Saturday and they were rained out Sunday.

I was mistaken in my earlier post when I said Bonds didn't play last Saturday in St. Louis -- was looking at the wrong box score. I just now got around to watching the game on TiVo... he batted four times, twice with the Sam Bat and twice with a black LS M9.

In mid-Summer, the San Francisco Chronicle interviewed Bonds about his bats. According to Bonds, he was breaking alot of SAM bats, and Sam, who Bonds indicated was a perfectionist, was slow to replace them; hard to believe because I doubt Sam inspects many bats anymore after selling out to mass manufacturer Wilson.
