The first item up for grabs is a rare set of pants from the 1978 Boston Red Sox. Manufactured by McAuliffe, the pants are fully tagged in the waistline and show light use. The zipper and buttons are perfect, and the pants look as fresh as the day it was stored! Per the tagging, the waist is a size 36 and the length is 25 inches from the crotch to the bottom cuffs. The player is unknown. These rare pants will go well with your vintage Red Sox jersey, and 1978 will always be considered one of the most historic seasons in the history of the Sox! Several guys on the team weighed over 200 pounds, and may have worn a size 36 (Jim Rice, Dwight Evans, George Scott, Carlton Fisk, Mike Torrez, Bill Lee, Bob Stanley... Who the heck knows?). First $150 takes the pants, delivered and insured.
I also have several jersey nameplates from the Majors. These all came from the same “find” and are very nice. All are considered scarce, and a few may even be considered rare. Prices include delivery.
RARE Seattle Mariners 1981 Nameplates with Three-Layer Lettering -- used briefly during the 1981 season only, these two examples are probably among the few ever offered to the hobby. Made for the elusive powder blue jerseys.
