A few months ago my parents, who have lived in the same NJ home for the last 30 years, decided they were ready to move. Subsequently, they told me it was time I finally take all clothes and sports memorabilia I've had stored in a closet for the last three decades. Thank god they told me and didn't throw the items away or give them to the neighbors kid. Many of these items I aquired when I was a teenager or younger. I liked seeing them so much, I thought other people might like to see them as well. These are just a few of the items I found in the closet.

Rob,

Nice Campanella/Snider Dodgertown item! I collect Dodgertown items such as programs, yearbooks, uniforms, postcards and even pens and pads of paper with the Dodgertown Conference Center logo.

My one and only trip to Dodgertown enabled me to cross off an item from my bucket list.

Kind Regards,

Ron.

Thank you Ron. I was 13 years old when I got those items in 1992 but I remember it vividly. My dad and I were standing on the walkway between fields when another fan said to stay there because some great players were about to walk by. A few minutes later the Duke signed that flyer. That's when i saw campi being wheeled by his assistant. Being so young and not realizing he was completely paralyzed, I approached and asked him to sign it as well. That's when his assistant gave me the card you see on the left. It was a great spring training memory, maybe the best of all.

Some additional items recovered:
1)champaign bottle and cork from the Indians locker room the day they clinched the AL in 1997 with my media credential. (I worked as a reporter for WKNR radio in the mid to late 90's)
2)OC Register newspaper from the NCAA tournament four years ago, featuring Kevin Love of UCLA. The guy in the picture to the right is me. I worked for the NCAA during the tournament and was caught in the shot. I had himm sign it the next day.
3)Billings Gazette from the day the Mustangs won the 2001 Pioneer League championship. I was the radio broadcaster that season. The clip at the top is the one that was written about me when I was hired.
