arrington redskins helmet in ami ... opinions

looking for help on the helmet in this package? appears to match game phots but i know helmet are very hard to get and easy to fake.

any help would be apperciated. anyone here know the owner.

I know this doesnt help you, but since I know the history of this piece I can promise its legit. Im sure the poster helmets could give you his opinion on the helmet itself.

thanks ryan, it looked on point but woudl love to hear what others have to say.

i would hate to buy it through ami if i could avoid that; due to their bad rep. not sure if the seller is on this forum?

He is not an active member on the forum.

He is a very honest person so I cant imagine him shorting AMI.

As far as I know the bad rep AMI got was for consigners not getting paid. I do not know of any other issues. To fix this they allow people to keep their items and after they are paid they mail them to AMI who mails them to the buyer. I have not heard of any recent issues. Not to say their hasnt been any, just I have not heard of any.

Game Exclusives did sell Redskins game used helmets...the one I had came with a Game Exclusives hologram on back that matched the Game Exclusives COA which was signed by a Redskins VP (Dillow? I think was the name). I don't have the helmet any longer, but when I bought it I remember choosing between Portis, Taylor, Brunell, and the likes - they had many available - I don't recall Arrington, but they had what seemed like the whole team available for sale. There should also be a round number decal inside in black/white. Hope this helps you some.

Ok, sorry, ignore my post :o ....I read the auction description a couple days ago and for some reason thought it said Game Exclusives, but I just re-read it and there is no mention of Game Exclusives, so my bad. I guess when it said "obtained from the team" that Game Exclusives popped in my mind...not even sure if they existed in 2003 though as my helmet was from 2006 I believe. Again, sorry for taking a fork in the road that didn't exist!

yeah i dont see that white sticker in the inside of the helmet.

just might not be seen in the pics that were posted.
