BMH, is this marking from Louisville Slugger for a defect bat?

Hello Brian,

I came across a pro bat and it has this I13 written under it. I am wondering if this was an error bat and they had this as a BPAS bat for the minor leaguers? Also it doesn't quite look like an I13 to me as the knob and the barrell shape look off. But that could just be my mind playing tricks on me.

Any help you can give would be awesome! Thanks!

Wow, that didn't take long at all...&%$%*$ minor league's.

We had a dozen Longoria's that were the wrong weight so we put them in BPAS. So if you see the model number written in there like that 99% of the time it's a BPAS bat.

Thanks! That's what I thought. I have seen some issued bats with it and even some "game used" ones. Just another point of detail to identify false gamers. Thanks Brian! You are such an asset to the hobby!
