Kickoff Football: New Style Duke with newly appointed Commissioner Roger Goodell on the football. This is an extremely rare football for the following reasons: First, this style of football has the special "2006 Kickoff” Logo on the football. These special footballs were used only for NFL games played during Week 1 of the 2006 season. Second, laser-printed on the football is “Eagles”. Third, this is the first issue of the new style duke football with the new commissioner’s name of the football. Finally, 2006 kickoff footballs will not be available for retail sale.

Duke Football: New style football with outgoing Commissioner Paul Tagliabue on the football. This is a pre-release new style duke football because I got this football prior to the May 1st release of the new style Duke footballs.

Offered are two new style Duke footballs. Both ARE NOT game used but are the same authentic NFL football used on the field.

Just updated the auction with the follwoing information:

NOTE: For the first time ever, each NFL team will be able to practice with the footballs they are going to use on Sunday, the week prior to the game. On game day, each visiting team will be allowed to bring 12 footballs. Prior to the game, the referees will check the footballs for size and weight. To differentiate between the team footballs during the game, the NFL, through Wilson, will laser-print the team name onto footballs shipped to the teams. Retail footballs WILL NOT have the team names laser-printed onto Duke footballs
