Ted Gray, an AL pitcher for 9 seasons, mostly with Detroit, has died at age 86.
Gray pitched for the Tigers in 1946 and from 1948-54, notching 10 or more victories four times for some mediocre Tigers squads. He split his final season (1955) with four different AL ballclubs: Chicago, Cleveland, New York and Baltimore.
