View Full Version : What does E.O.C. mean on team name for H & B LVS?

I have this 60's era bat. 33" long 34.4 oz.. I cannot for the life of me figure out what EOC means on this bat. Anybody?

I believe this to be a 1969 bat... Tony was 5 years into his major league career with the twins. I cannot imagine it would be a college bat.

I think what he meant was that colleges/universities were able to order professional model bats with their name underneath the player's facsimile signature...This bat was not used by Oliva

Yes, I've seen many LVSs with a famous player, then a college name below it. EOC is probably E____ O____ College. Could be E____ Occupational College...some place that doesn't exist anymore.
