Astros cap questions

I got in an Astros cap that was misidentified by the seller and is older...possibly signifcantly older...than the seller indicated.

Can anyone determine whether or not the Astros still wore leather cap bands in 1980-82?

Also, did the Astros use New Era caps in the 1965-70 era?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dave.....Houston started wearing KM Pro caps in 1965.....they were KM Pro labels and not Tim Mcauliffe labels. New Era also supplied the Astros with caps from around 1968 thru today, with the leather band examples lasting all the way to 1984. I just sold several examples of these last month. Thanks. :)
