A few years back a lot of 1984 Chicago Cubs NLCS road jerseys surfaced at a Mastronet auction. Every starting line up member was included along with a few pitchers, all in original unaltered condition with the 1984 division champions patch. I understand the Cubs provided the players with brand new "1985" tagged home and away uniforms to be used during the playoffs and the expected world series apperance. Obviously, they never made it past San Diego and they apparently scraped most of the jerseys. I am wondering if any of these jerseys from the Mastronet auction have surfaced?, if any other common 1984 NLCS Cubs jerseys with the 1985 tagging & patch have come around?, and are there any original (not replica) division champion patches that exsist? Any feedback would be appreciated as I am very interested in any of these jerseys!
