We all forget sometimes about the other side of sports... sure there are jerks out there who scream for more money when they are making more than many of us will ever see, but then there are guys like Albert.

He doesn't need to do any of the things he does, but his heart is so big, I don't think anyone can make him stop. That story brought a tear to my eye.

I have always been a Pujols fan for what he has done on the field, but my respect for him as a man is for what he does off of it.

I was recently convinced by a friend to compete in a 10k run for Multiple Sclerosis, despite the fact I haven't run more than 100 yards since college I have agreed to do so... I have been training, and while I am not there yet, I will get there, it hurts, but the thought that I am doing it for a good cause makes me feel good... and despite my love of my boyhood Orioles, I will be wearing my Cardinals cap, thanks to Albert.

Who knows... Maybe I can get Albert to send a few bucks
