While the Cubs, over the last 50 years, have generally been johnny-on-the-spot on yrear tagging their game jerseys, the 1993 season saw an oddity. Most (not all) of the collar strip tags in '93 Cubs gamers carried the uniform number, the size and the set...but no year. Pictured below is a fully legitimate Shawn Boskie 1993 Cubs road jersey on eBay right now.

The collar tag reads 47-46-2...all the normal strip tag identifiers except the year.
