Lou Gorman, a member of several MLB front offices for over 30 years, died April 1. He was 82.
Gorman served as the first GM in Seattle Mariners history (1977-80) and also served in the same capacity for the Red Sox (1984-93).
Tom Silverio, an outfielder with brief stints with the California Angels from 1970-72, died April 2 at age 65 in the Dominican Republic.
