According to Wikipedia he signed a contract to play for the Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball League over the winter.

I'll miss having him in the Majors...he was one of the most popular non-stars on the Forum in the last few years.

wow.....I guess the career really went south...Haven't heard of too many american players going to the Korean League. Yes, japan but not Korea. Any other recognizable American players playing in Korea?

Cannot read Korean but he is apparently only batting 243 with 1 homer but I am not sure if this is through yesterday or when.

I cannot imagine trying to read Korean or Chinese!!!

I guess if you grew up with it as your language it would not be big deal.

Just looking at the page above is very overwhelming....

Tim Redding played for the Samsung Lions in Korea for part of the season last year. I have a pair of his cleats that he used over there.:)
