Hello all, I am new to the boards and just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone can help me out with my collection. I am currently collecting Matt Herges items.
You may be wondering why I would collect game used items from a middle inning reliever. Well, Matt is from my hometown of Champaign, IL and he is the only person from my high school that has ever made it to the major leagues. His brother was my freshman football coach and would often talk about Matt. It's always great seeing a home town guy on the television!
Currently I have been able to aquire 4 of Herges' jerseys. A 2007 Rockies vest, 2009 Indians away, and 2010 home and away Royals jerseys that were "issued" because he didnt make the team.
If anyone has any Herges items that they would be willing to part with or has any leads on any I would be greatly appreciative if you could give me a heads up!
