1993 Nolan Ryan on Ebay, Used or Unused

There is a 1993 Nolan Ryan Road Game on ebay right now. It is tagged L/16. I know he ordered a bunch of Road and Home jerseys and didnt use some of them. Could this one be issued since it is pretty far down the line?

It just dawned on me...while that jersey may have been made for The Express, it wouldn't have seem game action...the left sleeve is missing the patch commemorating the final season of Arlington Stadium. A later season jersey would also have the HEC (Eddie Chiles) memoriam lettering.

I know that Nolan ordered 34 or 36 jerseys for the 1993 season - planning to wear ONE each of his starts.

What's bothering me is the 'L' on the L/16... all of the others I have seen are NUMBERED (1/18, 2/18, 3/18, etc) so why does this one have a LETTER?

For what it's worth, there is a 'complete' (Jersey/Pants) Ryan uniform from 1993 on eBay that is attributed to Dave Miedema:

And it is NUMBERED - 2/18.

I dont think its unusual that its the letter "L". I read somewhere that his home whites that season were 1/18, 2/18, 3/18. And his road greys were A/16, B/16, C/16, etc. I was just thinking that L is pretty far down the line, 12th letter, so if he used one per game, this one wouldnt be worn until he pitched 12 road games, and I think he only pitched 6 road games. So assuming he went in order A, B, C, this was not actually worn jersey.
