Back when my team, the Diamondbacks, started playing in '98, I bought one of those full-sized, laser-carved Heavy Hitter team bats, with the facsimile signatures of that year's players on the barrell...and every year thereafter through 2005. Then, in 2006 I never was able to find one to buy, got one for 2007, and have not seen one since.
Does anyone know whether or not those bats are still being made, or whether they were made in 2006? I seem to remember hearing something about the company having some kind of licensing disupte with MLB at about that time.
