Brian, what does an "M" stamped into the knob of an M9 mean? Thanks!

It's an M9 maple bat... seems redundant to have the M in the knob, but always possible.

Doesn't Ford do the same thing with their trucks...

Ford 'F150'....Doesn't the 'F' in 'F150' stand for Ford?
So they are really saying:

Ford Ford150

;)

I'm pretty sure it signifies some sort of test bat. I once owned two Manny bats with the 'M' and Brian said they were part of a set of three sent off just prior to Manny's 500th. Unsure if it was LVS hoping Manny may hit the big one with their bat or if he had requested something. But I'm pretty sure they're similar to a prototype. We can just wait for him to comment ;)

Yeah, this is what he said regarding the three M bats for Manny:

Jeff:

I believe that it signifies the type of drying process used for the maple.
