He played in the White Sox system for a few years and has been with the D-Backs (in Reno and with the MLB team) the last 2 seasons.

Seems like Towers doesn't like him too much. Some of the AZ blogs are joking that Allen must've insulted Towers's wife or something! Rumor the Rays may be interested in him....
