I recently ran into Steve Misturini on Ebay and just wanted to give everyone a heads up that he is still out there forging paperwork, signatures, game use etc.

I purchased a Forged Game Used Item from a John Turneau residing in Lindenhurst New York. I later learned that Mr. Turneau coincidentally shared the same home address as the well known Sports Memorabilia “Forger” Steve Misturini.

Here is a list of some of the ebayers who have purchased from him:

Do any of the names look familiar to anyone or are any of you forum members?

If anyone knows any of these folks feel free to have them shoot me an email and I would be happy to give them more information. I’m not suggesting that everyone got scammed by Mr. Misturini, although anyone who has been active on the forum for a while probably knows who he is and some of his History. By some of his communications, I feel that he could still be an active member watching the forum?

If you are not familiar with him, just Google him with words such as Fraud, scam, con artist, forger and you will find more than enough information.

Glad I'm not on that list :). I recognize a couple but I don't think they are forum members. Susanne

I don't see an ebay ID listed in the post. I think that would be helpul as I would like to know to avoid the listings. Its nice to alert people after the fact they may have gotten scammed but I think this post would be more suited as a deterrent from future people getting taken.

A Ebay ID would be very helpful.

Sorry guys....I thought that I included the ID but forgot to. It also looks like he may have stopped doing business under this name?

The ID is: JTurneau

No feedback received since June, 2010.

That ID is no longer a registered user.

Didn't even know I did business with him. I'm doing a search now, it will take a few minutes to find it in all those emails I have kept.

They bought a Michael Jordan used golf club from me. One with paperwork from Hunt Auctions/Upper Deck Authenticated.

I noticed that there were a couple of high end gamers sold which I assume were fakes.

So I was searching through MASauction's feedback, seeing who he's scammed on his way to the pokey, and who bought two high-end jerseys from him recently? cowboy4life1313

Maybe we want to watch to see if a Rice or Emmitt gets posted soon.

Is Cowboy4life Steve Misturini?

He was selling the fake Randy Moss Vikings the other day. It had a fake nameplate. When questioned, he said that he thought it was a bit off also but was getting ready to frame it for his wall. He had just bought it off AMI. The problem is that this Jersey never sold on AMI.

If so.....it's classic Misturini....keep your eyes open for fake photo matches and team repairs, tampered name plates and sizing tags that have been removed and replaced from other jerseys.
