First off, sorry for the huge images.
Well maybe the item isn't game used, but celebration used. I know that some folks probably think this is an odd item to want to own, let alone make it the centerpiece of a collection, but I love this bottle.

A celebration used champagne bottle from the Giants World Championship celebration.

The Giants winning the World Series was one of the top moments of my life, before I met my wife and had my kids I would have ranked the moment #1. So to own a small piece of that celebration, some small piece of excitement and joy that the players and the fans felt is an amazing thing to me. Now I just need to find a nice display case for it. :D

Cool bottle. The glass beats the quality of that Josh Hamilton ginger ale bottle by far...

Yeah, crushed up green plastic just doesn't do it for me.

Much less for over $500. It's a cool novelty at $100 or $200, but $500 for something that doesn't even look cool on display is way too much in my mind.

I saw some champaigne bottle display cases at Michaels this past weekend. I think they were acrylic and around $20. They were with the sports display cases.

Where would one be able to purchase one of these bottles? Are they expensive?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to go take a look. The only ones I have found online run about $40 and up for an acrylic box with a base.

The Giants were selling bottles from all 4 celebrations during their 12 days of game used sales. The bottle was $199 + $15 shipping and tax, so $230 total.
