If anyone does go, I would pay cost ++ finders fee for a Jay Payton Sox Jersey..still looking to complete a GU type set for each team he played for (many, I know)..he's a hometown hero..thanks in advance, Jay.

I have not updated my FS thread yet but I am keeping Gonzo at this point. I've moved some Civil War items to give me some breathing room.

I wish the Sox NEVER got rid of him. Twice. I always liked him better than Scutaro.

Just got back from the yard sale. Pretty much the same junk they've had for the past few years (signs, stadium junk, bricks, media guides, promotional stuff, etc..._ They had 4 bins of GU jerseys. 2 with road greys (1990-1996 mostly), 1 with green ST jerseys, and another with red BP/ST jerseys. Very obscure players to chose from. They did have a Pokey Reese red BP jersey and a few Kevin Cash jerseys. They had a bunch of 1990 tagged jerseys with a full black armband and a couple with the small black bar with "JRY" (Jean Yawkee Memorial). They had a couple of 1999 jerseys with the All Star Game patch. I grabbed a well worn Mark Guthrie road grey with the AS patch.

Steiner sports was also there with some of their Red Sox stuff. I got a pretty good deal on a '10 David Oritz home white with excellent dirt stains all over the jersey.

What were the prices like?

And did they have the "high end" room like last year?

The gray jerseys were $75, red ST/BP jerseys were $65, and the green ST jerseys were $100.

They did have a "high end" room with some Julio Lugo and Keith Foluke jerseys for $150-$200. They also had a bunch of signed authentic jerseys with players like Foulke, Smoltz, and Beckett for the $150-$250 range. The real nice stuff was at the Steiner desk though. (2010 star player jerseys, helmets, etc..) They also had lineup cards and lockerroom name plates.

Sounds like Steiner got all the high end stuff to sell. How were the Steiner prices?

I didn't see anything from John Flaherty....but that doesn't mean there wasn't one there. There were what seemed like 100's of jerseys in the bins.

I only aksed about 2 jerseys from Steiner- a Tim Wakefield road gray for $400 and the David Ortiz home jersey (I paid $600).
