This bat is not Bonds' first major league bat.
I can say that with 100% certainty because I have a wire photo from Bonds' first ML at bat and the bat he is using has a large "BB" written on the handle, not 7. There is no doubt the bat in Historic Auctions is an early Bonds game used bat, it is just absolutely not his first, not from his first game.
Just wanted to make sure everyone who is bidding/was thinking about bidding was aware.
At one time, I had one of the largest Bonds game used collections in the world, and I am certain of what I am saying.
I am also fairly certain that I owned that bat at one time. It's a nice game used bat, from his first days in the majors, just not from his first game.
