What is the evolution of the NFL Captains Patch?

First, I will say that I hate the NFL captains patch on the jersey. But regardless, the NFL captain patch started 4 years ago. Each year a certain player was captain of the same team, one of the 4 stars on the jersey got colored. What will they do with that next year for guys going into their 5th year of being a captain (i.e. urlacher, manning, brady) ?

VERY good question, Jake. I wonder if they'll just start over with highlighting the stars but maybe with a different color than yellow.
I can't imagine them adding another row of stars to an already hideous and intrusive patch.
