I'm not a fan of modern "game-used" baseball cards but here's a cool card
that I picked up as a gift for a customer of mine who is a huge Josh Hamilton
fan. Its a card that has a piece of Josh's 2008 HR Derby used jersey that
was worn when he put on that record-breaking show at Yankee Stadium.
The card contains a piece of the MLB hologram that clearly shows the #
LH154718 which can be verified on the MLB authentication database:

Hologram number LH154718 was located in the MLB Authentication Database under GAME-USED JERSEY.
Session Product Description:

Session Name: 2008 HOME RUN DERBY
Session Date: July 14, 2008
Autographer: JOSH HAMILTON
Authenticator: AUTHENTICATORS, INC.
Additional Information: #32 - 2008 AS HOME RUN DERBY

Thanks,

100% Agreed! AT LEAST, its going to probably the biggest Josh Hamilton
fan in Japan who himself overcame depression, diabetes and many other
medical ailments to make a good life for himself. (thus the reason why
Josh's story inspires him)

However this jersey should be hanging in Josh's closet!

Didn't someone on here in another thread claim that they had a friend that owned this jersey and it was stolen? or am I mistaken?

i read that he sold the jersey at an auction in order to raise money for a school in uganda. Believe the jersey was signed by the entire team. I read this around dec of 2008, and it was reported by a radio station in north carolina where josh lived at the time. He also auctioned off the cleats he wore as well. As for the bat i have no clue where it ended up. Either way its a unique piece.

Maybe it was the bat then, that was stolen.

It is a cool card, but it makes me sick, that really is a true waste of baseball history.

Yup, he did. He built a school in uganda for sick orphaned children. i know this because the church i am a member of has had many mission trips over there and worked along side josh. the cool thing is that all of the kids have no idea who josh is, they just think he is your normal everyday guy.

anyway, my 2 cents about this card- as a fellow hamilton fan and collector it truly pisses me off to see this thrown away like that. as much as i would love to have anything hamilton in my collection, this is the one thing that i would refuse.i cannot believe someone would do that. they must have been out of their mind.
