Ivan Rodriguez GU bat opinions

This was the first gu bat I bought when I started a couple years ago, I had no idea what I was looking for at the time. I was just wondering if you guys think this is real. The bat has some glossy black paint flaking (off as you can see in the pictures) I've never seen this happen before. Also, any opinions on the auto would be great.

Looks good to me. Pudge played for Detroit in 2007 so that checks out. The bat also exhibits the markings from the Tigers clubhouse.

The paint job is double dipped black and that chipping happens sometimes.

It looks good. I had one that was MLB Authentic that had similar characteristics. You may want to check with Tigerdale though he is the biggest Pudge collector on here.

I Agree With Andrew, It Has Proper Clubhouse Markings From The Tigers. Pudge Seems To Be All Over The Place As To How His Bats Have Been Prepared Over The Years, But From His Time In Detroit, A Lot Seemed To Have The Tape Job Your Bat Displays.
