Hi all,
Great forum you have and I have been reading it for several months now. I have learned a bunch and am thankful for all the knowledge presented here.
I have a question.
I recently saw an Adam Dunn game used item that had a Dunn 44 hologram on it. It also had an ASI number on it also, on the same sticker that is.
Can anyone tell me about these holograms?
I know the history of ASI, well most of it, but don't know anything about the Dunn 44 holograms.

It more than likely means that ASI was the authorized representative/marketer of Dunn. The player's hologram is strong sign the item came from and/or was authorized by the player. You often see them with signatures.

For autographs, it's not uncommon to see a hologram for both a company and a player-- Hank Aaron/UDA, etc. Means the player personally authorized the signing that was overseen by the company.

Adam Dunn, Pudge Rodriguez and a few other athletes were ASI exclusive athletes. ASI marketed their autographs and game used stuff. In addition to the ASI hologram such items were affixed with the player's hologram.

I have items from Dunn's 1st couple of years with the Reds with the Dunn hologram which was through his deal with the old ASI (Scot Monette).
