Now that for most teams the season is at the quarter pole what does everyone think are the biggest surprises and disappointments so far teams and/or players:

Mine are

Surprises:

The Chiefs-Never would have guessed they would be the last undefeated team though they only played three games.

The Rams-Never saw them at .500 after four games.

Sam Bradford -Has played shockingly well for a rookie QB, especially one coming off a major injury that made him miss essentially all of his last college season.

Mark Sanchez-After his INTfest of a rookie year he has eight tds and has yet to throw an int.

Tomlinson-Discarded by the Chargers he has shown flashes of 2006 LT.

Vick-Had a nice two plus games before yesterday in his first extended action in three years.

Arian Foster- Who would have thought he would be the best RB in the league this year?

Brandon Lloyd-Went from journeyman to producing like a number one wideout in an underrated passing attack.

The Bears-Despite last night's clunker who would have thought they would be 3-1?

The Jaguars-2-2 with a win over the Colts.

The Texans- A notrious slow starting team starts slow no more looks scary especially after yesterday's win without Andre Johnson. The scary thing is Cushing has yet to play.

Clay Matthews-Seven sacks in four games he looks like LT the linebacker in his prime.

Disappointments

49ers-Weren't they suppossed to win the weakest division in the NFL? Now they are 0-4.

Chris Johnson-He was talking about 2,500 yards, he is averaging under four yards a carry and has had two bad games out of four.

Matt Moore-Clearly this kid is not an NFL QB.

Chargers and Colts- 2-2 after four weeks with losses to less than stellar opponents won't cut it in a tough AFC.

The Chargers offense-A once high powered machine has been reduced to Rivers to Gates or bust.

The Cardinals Offense- Went from Warner, Fitzgerald, Boldin and Breaston and the Super Bowl about 20 months ago to Anderson/Max Hall to Fitzgerald and three rookies two who were not even drafted while Breaston mends.

The Patriots- They are 2-1 but their defense has not shown up since the first half of game one. It made Ryan Fitzpatrick look like Peyton.

The Saints offense-They are 3-1 but where is the high octane machine? This was going on even before the Bush injury.

Jason Campbell- Al Davis compared him to Jim Plunkett before the season after two games he is on the bench after resembling JaMarcus Russell.

Vikings-1-2 with only win over Detriot.

Brett Favre-Has looked 50 for much of this year without Sidney Rice making plays.

Matt Forte-Has had a few nice receptions but where is the rusher who showed so much promise as a rookie in 2008? Last year was not an aberation it appears.

Williams and Stewart- The Panthers two stud backs have been mostly duds.

Brandon Jacobs-Went from unstoppable big back every coach wishes for to tossing his helmet into the crowd and riding the bench in not even two years.

Good list, I'd throw in these surprises.

Peyton Hillis - Nobody expected him to be anywhere near 8th in rushing with a TD in each the first 4 games.

Kyle Orton - Living around a lot of Bear fans, Orton has been the butt of some jokes for whatever reason the last few years, and then the Broncos draft Tebow... What? Wait, he's 1st in passing right now?

Austin Collie - I shouldn't be surprised the way Peyton spreads the ball, but about 100 ypg and 5 TDs already is impressive.
