Magic Johnson 1995-96 Game used jerseys

I've heard that Magic Johnson wore size 48 plus 4 during his short comeback in the 1995-96 season. Does anyone here know if it has been confirmed that he wore a size 44 at any point in that season? Thanks in advance for anyone that can provide input on this.

I don't recall the exact extra length, but I believe 48 is correct. Dan C. would be the go-to guy on this.

I think it was actually size 48 + 3. He was heavier that year and his jersey still looked baggy. Thanks for the reply. If anyone has proof that he wore a 44 at any point that year please chime in.

I had a 44 from that year so he did use a 44 + 4
