Two-toned Hanna Batrite...just as I suspected.

Note where Eddie's little finger falls on the closeup photo. You can easily see the same tiny smudge (possibly melted Tootsie Roll residue?) on the color photo. Not only is this a perfect photo match, word has it that Lampson is also preparing to write a LOA on it, too! I was told that he is planning to include a statement that this particulr bat "matches perfectly with other Hollywood balsawood bats from this same time frame that are in storage at MGM Studios, including a 4 footer used in Gilligan's Island and a 5 footer used in a Dennis the Menace episode". One could not ask for better authenticity than this-PERIOD!

I think perhaps we should keep this thread in only in the area appropriate to the forum's subject matter. It's one thing to make light comments, it's another to put out comments which some may find offensive. Please think about these things before posting.

..........I thought it was quite funny, actually. Sometimes it's nice to break up the stuffiness of the board and people b!tching at each other about the authenticity of some item that doesn't, in the grand scheme of things, add up to a dung beetle's prized posession.
It was funny. Thanks for the break.

My poker group nickname about 17-18 years ago was "Munster" because my hair was like Eddie's and because I often wore blazers and shorts.
