I picked up these 2009 Manny Ramirez SSK bats a while back and never got around to posting the photo matches.

The hammered two-tone SSK bat was used by Manny to club his 532nd career HR vs the San Diego Padres, bottom of the 3rd inning on April 30, 2009.

The black SSK bat Manny used to hit his 539th career HR vs the Milwaukee Brewers, bottom of the 5th inning on August 4, 2009.

Bobby,

These bats are sick. Let me know if you're ever looking to sell one.

Interesting to see how far apart his hands are on the follow-though. You wouldn't think he could generate that kind of power with that swing.

Very cool Bobby. I think I have 2 or 3 bats to try and match. Want to do like you and look at stats surrounding games if match is determined and hopefully find a HR in there!

Another pic of your two-tone if you don't have it:

Bobby - my photomatching skills are still so-so but tried one with my girlfriend's help. The knob markings look the same and line up with the Rawlings logo in my opinion... though I struggled to get the correct angle and perspective. There's also a telling mark on the outter knob above the '4' where the black finish is starting to wear off. Looks to match as well.

What do you guys think? Keep in mind the Manny picture is blown up quite a bit and the bat picture is shrunk down to fit and from a different angle. Involves using a little imagination I'd say. Manny did homer the day before this picture was taken April 5, 1998.

Thanks.
Mike

I'd say that looks pretty good, your pic would have been awesome if you through some gloves on for the photo. LOL

Michael,

Thanks for the photo, I don't have that one.....shoot me an e-mail if you need anything. Also, that Manny Rawlings bat looks like a match.

Thanks, Bobby

Finally found the date this photo was taken. August 12, 2009 at AT&T Park. Giants 4, Dodgers 2 in 10 innings, starting pitcher for the Giants Tim Lincecum.
