There was another post in the "vintage game used forum" where alot of collectors posted pics of their display rooms and their memorabilia. A lot of people had nice vintage memorbilia but now I'd like to see what our current memorabilia collectors' collection's look like. I'll start it off.

Don't have any pics of my "Gator room", but here's a link to pics of all my game used jerseys. All of these were worn by Florida Gator athletes, either at UF or in the pros. http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/gatorcollector/jerseys/

Also, for those who also collect autographs, here is a link to my collection of autographs of Gators who have played in the NFL. There are 206 altogether, I have over 160 so far. http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/gatorcollector/football%20autographs/

Here's Gators in the major leagues - only need a few more here.
http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/gatorcollector/baseball%20autographs/

And finally, Gators in the NBA. There haven't been that many!

Wow this post is old! Well I'm glad to say that my collection has grown a tad bit since my first post in here :D

On 6/6/06, when I originally posted this, I had 1 case in my room, which held half autographs/half game used. Now I have 3 full-to-capacity cases and an entire wall filled with game worn jerseys and autographs. Not bad for during a 6 month period. Also I'd love to see more replies to this, hope to see what everyone's display room looks like.

Kyle,

Wow! Very impressive!! Just curious...how do you get in and out of that door (lol)

3arod13 - lol I've been asked that many times before.......there is about 2 feet of space when you open it so I can just barely fit through. I'm moving into my basement in 2 months so I should be able to get through my door with ease soon :D

dcrules - haha my girlfriend is even pushing me to sell it.....I told her how someone offered me $300 for it and she just doesn't get why I would want a broken piece of wood when I can get that much money for it......chicks just don't understand

That looks awesome John!

I know what you mean about kids downsizing your collection. Before I was married I had bats and jerseys as the centerpiece decorations of my house (hard to believe I was ever able to convince someone to marry me). Now I have a small finished section in the basement. The living room walls that used to hold jerseys now display pictures of our kids. OK, I guess I can live with that exchange.:D

scott, i did the same thing. how my wife married me i do not know. actually my wife and i adopted a little girl from russia and all the things i saved in the course of my life came in handy. i ended up selling off a ton of things to, one downsize and two earn extra cash to cover all our expenses. it's amazing how different you look at a 1981 cleveland indians all-star raincoat vs a family :)

Here are 3 of my walls. As you can see, I am all over the place with this collecting thing: handpainted baseballs, game used bats, Negro Leaguers (the ring around the top), and anything else that catches my eye (McHale jersey, hockey sticks, Bednarik photo.) The Wynn jersey is an auto'd repro. The Wynn Sporting News piece is the only thing I have from the Halper Collection. The overflowing box of baseballs on the floor (the pyramid below the Wynn jersey) is most of my WWII Vet/MLB player collection.

Ken

PS: jonincleve, I'm in Cleveland, too (Willoughby). Someday we should meet!
