The Rockies set franchise records for hits (13) and runs (12) in an inning in the eighth, as well as extra-base hits in the game (12). Also in the eighth inning, the Rockies notched 11 hits in a row -- a Major League record.

Quite amazing.

Last year, in an otherwise dismal year for the Mets, I was at the game where they set a franchise record with 10 hits in an inning -- against division rival Atlanta.

This year, I had the opportunity to purchase 1 of the 3 bases that were on field during that historic inning.

Rockies fans... see what you can take home as a momento from this historic inning!!
