I was doing an inventory of my collection for insurance purposes and i came across a COA for a set of my favorite items: a set of Super Bowl XXX items from Try Aikman such as his sideline cap, game helmet, game jersey and game football all signed. Being a Dallas Cowboy fan I had to have this.
I wanted to check the database on the COA with Genesis Direct, Inc but in 1999 they became Proteam and I cannot find info on this COA (has the certificate number).
Does anyone know how I can track this down to keep it all legitimate. I mean somewhere there must be a historical listing on file for this COA if the company changes names> Proteam has no search engine or file to relate any COA back to an item.
Any guidance would be appreciated. All I have is a bill of sale and COA.
