stlhammer, that old hickory is one of the first g/u bats hamilton used as a ranger. Picked it up from a signing he had two weeks or so after the start of the season.

That old Hickory is a great bat, I've been trying to find a nice clear photomatch for it.

You have some great pieces in your collection, I love those cleats especially....and you already know I like the Reds gamer:p Those display cases really show nicely. I imagine they are expensive but you can't beat that look!

If i could remember the day i could get some more screan shots of the game, it had several photomatchable(if thats even a word) shots if i remember correctly. It was the first week of the 08 season april 12th i believe.

I got a cracked bat authenticated by mlb at the Rangers sale. Well i was able to look up the exact game it was used,
and Josh was 3 for 6 and hit his 28th HR of the year.
Well thanks to the magic of the internet i found photos
online and not only did i find a pic of the bat being cracked,
i also photomatched to the HR. When i got the bat it had
all the blue tape on it from mlb crack bat testing, i decided
to remove and it fix the bat (I know this is not what everyone
would do, but this is how i like my bats.) I have not mastered
the photo editing as much as kyle or bobby tex have, but i think
i did a pretty good job. I am going to get Josh to sign it
Homerun #28 2008.

The big blue cleats are hamilton g/u from 08 season. Also, have the bp jersey coming that he wore in the all star game this year on the way.

I think cruz bats were pretty popular amongst the rangers. Pretty sure i saw joaquin arias using one too. Most of the ones you see with the blue and white tape job were used by him.

Wow very pricey. What ever professional team you live near (AL mostly) ask around and figure out what hotel the rangers stay at when they are in town. I know in Houston where I graph them, they stay in the four seasons. If you do this your pretty much paying the price of gas and maybe 5 bucks for parking since you will be in a downtown area.
