Does it have seam impressions, to me it looks legit, I am not a Holiday expert though.

I got a Granderson A bat that was cracked for really cheap, and I am positive it is legit due to the model, characteristics, you can see where the donut was, the handwriting, the cleat marks.

Whether rare or not, steals happen on Ebay, I would enjoy the bat. He also isn't performing huge right so I think it was a good time to buy also.

Not a Holliday expert either, but use looks good. I have dealt with the seller before and always been pleased. Top notch seller, he sells a lot of bats and I cannot recall ever being suspicious of something he sold.

I think you got lucky and had good timing that a Holliday collector let that one go cheaper than normal. Congrats on the nice buy.

You might check pictures from like GettyImages.com or the like... He definitely used black Old Hickories, you should be able to find a style match in a few minutes of effort.

Ahh, here ya go Oct 06... good style match .. your bat has some good distinctive marks, with luck you may be able to photomatch it to a game.

Looks good to me. The tar matches up good compared to what Holliday Old Hickory bats I have seen.

I can back up the seller too. Scott has always been great to work with and does have a great inventory of bats. For what that is worth, you should feel pretty comfortable with the bat when considering the source.

Hey thanks for all the responses. I knew the model was right and wasn't questioning the seller ( had I known you were a member here I probably wouldn't have even questioned it). It was just the price that got me nervous. I know he is slumping and St louis fans are a little down on him right now but to get a bat at 1/4 the price the team sells them for.

Thanks
