Former major leaguer Oscar Azocar died today in Valencia, Venezuela.

He played a few games in MLB with Yankees and Padres.

I have one of his Padres jerseys and a very nice bat used by him.

Sad to hear that. I recall him swapping me a BP baseball for an oddball card of his at Wrigley while he was with San Diego. He seemed like a nice guy.
